Pepper Goodrich loves telling stories, the hotter the better—probably to counteract the long, cold winters she experienced growing up in Maine and endured for 30 years in Minnesota. Occasionally she ventured out to shovel snow or walk her two small dogs (a Yorkie and a Min Pin).

Having recently moved to New Mexico, in the fall and winter, she still enjoys sitting in front of a crackling fire and imagining fulfilling liaisons for her heroes and heroines.  And when the weather warms up, you can find her sitting in her 'summer office' on her porch and sipping a cool drink while writing hot scenes.

A bit about Pepper

Questions Pepper is frequently asked

How did you get started writing?

The first time I used a word processing program.  I've always had stories in my head, but putting them on paper with a typewriter (remember those?) was way too much work.  But cut and paste?  That so works for me.

What genre(s) do you write in and why?

Pepper writes the hawt stuff  'cause it's fun.  I also write as Judi Phillips.  She writes all the rest, everything from sweet (ending with the first kiss) to spicy.  Contemporary, a bit of sci fi, time travel and paranormal

Tell us about your current series.

The Love Genie series was inspired when a friend mentioned a motel that had themed rooms, a tree house, a jungle adventure, etc.  And I immediately thought about a movel that fulfilled sexy fantasies.  Bring your own partner or The Genie will match you up.

What move best describes your life?  Why?

In 2014, I was living back in Maine--grew up there, then lived in the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis for 30 years.  The winter of 2014-15 was a challenge--well that doesn't begin to cover it.  Among other things, it snowed twice a week for about 6 weeks--or it seemed to last that long.  By the first weekend I'd had it.  After talking it over with my grown kids, I decided to move to New Mexico in the spring of 2015, close to my second son and his family.  Grandkids a block away, sunny days, a hint of snow in the winter.  Doesn't get better than this.
